Friends of Village Services
The Friends were formed in May 2016 by the Founder Julie Roberts. The organisation draws together individuals and local business partners who wish to support the vision of creating community cohesion to support residents to live independently and have genuine local friendship.
Aims Of The Friends
- To assist Village Services in legal compliance with government regulations.
- To subscribe to the funds required from time to time for maintaining and improving care in the community.
- To organise the raising of capital funds as required for any emergency that may arise which cannot be provided for out of funds available to Village Services.
Why be a member?
Village Services receives no state funding and are therefore totally reliant on the generosity of the community. The Friends exist in order to support the services and care given to local people. It is only through the generosity of the Friends that we are able to continually enhance the lives of neighbours.
Benefits of being a Friend
All Friends are invited to attend the Village Services Health & Well-being sessions run weekly by local volunteers.
